Anya Sharma: Thanks for having me! It’s true, the sheer volume can be overwhelming. I filter by location (specifically LA and San Diego), age range, and project type, like scripted shows or feature films. Then, I meticulously read the descriptions, paying close attention to the role details, compensation (if listed), and the production company. If anything feels vague or unprofessional,I usually skip it.
The reality of Reality TV
Archyde News: Your article mentioned reality TV castings as well. What’s your take on those? Are they a viable option for aspiring actors or a different beast altogether?
anya Sharma: That’s a great question. Reality TV is definitely a different path. While it can offer exposure, it’s not typically seen as a stepping stone to traditional acting roles. most reality shows are looking for personalities rather than trained actors. Though, if you’re comfortable being yourself on camera and the concept appeals to you, it can be a good way to gain on-screen experience and build a following. Also, the “YouTube Series fraud investigation” sounds engaging, but make sure to seriously look into the casting details before auditioning!
Hourly Rates and Fair Compensation
