»The Unwanted Undead Adventurer« erhält Anime-Serie – Anime2You

The Japanese publisher Overlap announced today famousannounced that the light novel series »The Unwanted Undead Adventurer« (Japanese: »Nozomanu Fushi no Boukensha«) will receive an anime adaptation.

So far it is only known that the anime adaptation is a series that is to be broadcast on Japanese television. Specific details, such as a launch date and details of the production team, have not been confirmed at this time.

»The Unwanted Undead Adventurer« was penned by Yuu Okano (»Revived the Devil«) and has been published in Japan since October 2017 with illustrations by Jaian. A manga adaptation by Haiji Nakasone (»Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero«) started in November 2017.

The US publisher J-Novel Club publishes both the original light novel and the manga adaptation with English translation. A German release has not yet been announced.

Plot:

Rentt Faina, a 25-year-old adventurer, has been hacking into monsters for a decade. However, since he doesn’t have much talent for this job, he has to hunt slimes and goblins every day for little money. Little does he know that this is regarding to change when he stumbles upon a seemingly undiscovered path in the labyrinth of the moon mirror. But what awaits him at the end of the path are neither treasures nor riches, but a legendary dragon that will devour him without further ado!
