Robertson: “Well,first of all,every game in the Premier League is a challenge,especially when facing a top team like Manchester City. We’re aware of our past struggles there, but this is a new season with a new mindset. We’ve grown since the last time we stepped foot in the Etihad, and we’ll be giving it our best shot to maintain our league position.”

Manchester City has had an uplifting run since Christmas, matching Liverpool’s points tally. What do you think of their resurgence, and how are you preparing Liverpool’s defense to tackle this threat?

Robertson: “City has always been a strong team, and Pep Guardiola knows how to turn things around. They’ve found their rythm again, and that makes them more dangerous.As for our defence,we’re working on our cohesion,interaction,and solidity.It’s going to be a tough game, but we’re ready for it.”

Given Liverpool’s poor record at the Etihad under Guardiola, and the psychological challenge that presents, how do you and your teammates approach this game mentally?

Robertson: “You’re right; the psychological factor is crucial. It’s important not to dwell on past results. We need to stay focused, believe in our abilities, and play our game. It’s not about the history or the records; it’s about what we do on the pitch on matchday. We have the quality and the belief to-change our fortunes at the Etihad.”
