NEW ORLEANS – The No. 67 ranked Wichita State women’s tennis team concluded their week-long Louisiana road trip on a high note, securing a decisive 4-0 victory over No. 61 tulane on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at City Park Tennis Center. Coach Jenkins: Thank you! It really came down to team chemistry and a commitment to our game plan. Head Coach Foster emphasized a “total team effort,” and that’s exactly what we saw. The girls supported each other, both on and off the court, and that positive energy was crucial in securing those wins.

Coach Jenkins: absolutely. Winning the doubles point provides a important psychological advantage. It relieves some of the pressure going into singles and allows us to dictate the pace. The partnerships of Xin Tong Wang and Giorgia Roselli, and Anne Knuettel and Tatyana Nikolenko, have been working incredibly hard on their synergy, and it’s definitely paying off.

We need to bring the same purpose, belief, and energy that Coach Foster always emphasizes.
