Double Olympic medalist PV Sindhu is set to tie the knot in Udaipur on December 22. Her chosen partner is Venkata Datta Sai, an executive director at Posidex Technologies.
A Whirlwind Wedding
The couple will exchange vows in a joyous celebration starting December 20. Following the main ceremony, a reception will be held in Hyderabad on December 24.
Sindhu’s father, PV Ramana, shared insights into the rapidly approaching nuptials “The families knew each other, but everything was finalized only a month ago. This was the only possible window as her schedule is packed from January onwards.”
“That’s why the decision was made to have the ceremony on December 22. She will resume training soon after. The next season is important,” he added.

Sai holds a Diploma in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the Foundation of Liberal Arts and Management Education. He furthered his education with a BBA concentrating on Accounting and Finance from Flame University, graduating in 2018. His academic achievements include a Master’s in Data Science and Machine Learning from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore.
