New AI Research Series Fosters Collaboration at Elon

Elon University Launches AI Research Series

Elon University ​is fostering a collaborative habitat for artificial intelligence​ research wiht a new series of events showcasing the work of eight faculty members ‌across diverse disciplines.The series, organized by Mustafa Akben, ElonS director⁢ of AI integration, and Sagun giri,‍ a member of Elon’s AI Task Force and instructional technologist, aims to bring together ‌researchers ⁣from various fields to ⁢explore‍ the latest⁢ advancements⁤ in AI, share⁤ their insights, ⁢and build connections for future collaborations.

“This​ initiative is more than just a⁣ series of presentations‍ – it’s the foundation for an interdisciplinary AI research network,” Akben stated. “By bringing together researchers from ⁣different fields, we hope to strengthen ​our ⁢connections and‌ support each other’s ‌work.”

Each session will feature a 45-minute research presentation followed​ by a one-hour networking possibility,‍ creating a space ‌for engaging ​discussions and potential partnerships. The series ​is open to all faculty,staff,students,and​ interested⁤ community members.
