Showing Your Support: Kobe Stokes Guide to Gifting Players and Staff
Kobe Stokes deeply appreciates the unwavering support from our incredible fans. We want to ensure everyone who wants to express their gratitude to our players, staff, cheerleaders, and mascot Stalky can do so in a safe and organized manner during home games. To help with this, we’ve outlined some simple guidelines for gifting during home games:
Who Can Receive Gifts?
We welcome gifts for all members of the Kobe Stokes family, including:
- Players (including visiting team away players)
- Team Staff
- Cheerleaders
- Mascot Stalky
Where to Drop Off Your Gifts
Please deliver all gifts to the designated Fan Club booth located at the venue. Our friendly staff there will be happy to accept your thoughtful contributions.
Items That Cannot Be Accepted
To ensure the safety and well-being of everyone, and to comply with league regulations, certain items are prohibited. Please refrain from bringing any of the following:
- Perishables (cakes, homemade food, and drinks), as these may pose health risks or violate food safety regulations.
- Nutrients, vitamins, energy drinks, or alcohol, as these substances could potentially affect doping testing.
- Dangerous materials such as gunpowder, fireworks, or knives, which are strictly prohibited for the safety of all.
- Money items, including cash, gold certificates, and prepaid cards like Starbucks or Amazon gift cards. We want to maintain fairness and transparency in our community.
- Opened or used items for hygiene and safety reasons.
How to Deliver Gifts
To streamline the process and ensure efficient delivery, please adhere to the following guidelines :
- Please do not attempt to hand deliver gifts to players, staff, cheerleaders, or Stalky directly before, during, or after games. This includes waiting outside the venue or approaching them around the stadium.
- Do not throw gifts onto the court.
- Do not leave gifts with staff members outside the designated Fan Club booth.
To help us ensure all gifts are handled properly, please consider these important points:
- When dropping off a gift, please complete the provided drop-off sheet. This helps us keep track of all deliveries and ensures your gift reaches its intended recipient.
- We kindly request that you refrain from wearing clothing or accessories that may affect the condition of our players or staff.
- Once a gift is deposited at the Fan Club booth, it generally cannot be returned. Please double-check the contents of your gift before submitting it.
- Our staff may need to open and inspect gifts to ensure they comply with regulations.
- Please be aware that it might take a few days for a gift to be delivered to the intended recipient.
- We will, of course, deliver all gifts that adhere to these guidelines to the appropriate individuals.
Please remember, while we appreciate the enthusiasm of our fans, we are unable to answer specific questions about which gifts are most suitable or confirm whether a gift has been received by a particular individual. Kindly trust our staff to handle all deliveries with care and discretion.
Gifting to the Away Team
We recognize that our fans sometimes wish to show their appreciation to visiting team members. Please be aware that gifting to away players is subject to guidelines set forth by Kobe Stokes and visiting teams. We will happily accept gifts intended for away members as long as they comply with these regulations. For questions regarding these specific rules, please refer to Stokes’ insertion rules provided at the venue.
