Aigars Krēsla: It was actually a bit nerve-wracking, but also very special. We were just starting our relationship, and it was our first public appearance together. It’s funny to think back on it now, knowing where we are today. The premiere was also a great evening – Aigars’ film was wonderful, and we had a great time celebrating it together.
Archyde: Now,let’s talk about the engagement. How did you know Aija was the one?
Aigars Krēsla: I’ve known it for a long time, really. But when I saw her with our families and friends, just being herself, and everyone around us loved her, I realized it was time. I wanted to dedicate my life to her,to build a future together. It felt natural and right.

Archyde: Your wedding is highly anticipated. Can you give us any hints about how you’ll blend your creative worlds on this special day?
Aigars Krēsla: Well, I can’t reveal much, but I promise it will be a beautiful fusion of our artistic sensibilities. Aija’s design aesthetic and my music will definitely play big roles. We also want our guests to feel like they’re part of our celebration, so we’re putting a lot of thought into creating an inclusive and memorable atmosphere.
Archyde: what’s one piece of advice you’d give to couples trying to balance their careers and relationships?
Aigars Krēsla:Communication is key. Make time for each other, even when schedules are crazy. Share your dreams and goals, and support each other’s growth. It’s a journey, and it’s crucial to enjoy every step with the person you love.
