Jamal Allam, the new president of the Al-Kuwa Federation, thanked the General Assembly following his election today as President of the Gabala by obtaining 109 votes.
Allam told “Youm7” that the Egyptian national team is currently on top of his priorities, especially that the team is on the verge of an important tournament, which is the African Nations, stressing the provision of stability to the technical staff led by Queiroz to achieve the best results and the happiness of the Egyptian masses.
He continued that the council will hold its first meeting now to discuss the team’s travel arrangements and support the team, explaining that there will be permanent contact with the Professional Clubs Association, as well as all links in the second and third divisions.
While the new Football Association Council, headed by Jamal Allam, decided to continue the Clubs Association with its current formation until the end of the current season, and this decision is the first decision of the Federation following announcing the victory of Jamal Allam’s list officially to lead the Jabaliya for the next 4 years.
The first list headed by Gamal Allam won the elections to the board of directors of the Egyptian Football Association, which was held today during the regular meeting of the General Assembly of the Federation, where the list obtained the absolute majority in the first voting process with a total of 109 votes out of 116 votes who participated in the electoral process, while the second list won Headed by Mohamed Ibrahim on 6 votes, while one vote was excluded to invalidate it.
The winning list includes: Jamal Allam as Chairman, Khaled Al Darandali as Vice Chairman, and members: Muhammad Helmy Mashhour, Muhammad Abu Al-Wafa, Hazem Imam, Muhammad Barakat, Ihab Al-Koomi, Amer Hussein and Dina Al-Rifai.
The General Assembly of the Egyptian Football Association held its regular meeting at eleven thirty in the followingnoon, headed by Ahmed Megahed, head of the committee in charge of managing the federation, and in the presence of Kenny John Mary, a representative of the FIFA, and Counselor Mohamed Abdo Saleh, head of the disciplinary committee of the federation.
During the meeting, the minutes of the previous assembly meeting, the activity report, budgets and financial statements were approved, before the electoral process began.
