Following a disappointing defeat against Carpegna Pesoaro, Pallacanestro Cantu has responded decisively, announcing the signing of seasoned center Dustin Hogue.

He needs no introduction, everyone remembers his performances with Trento and last year in Rieti, where he was pivotal. He’s a quality player and a leader who always puts the team first. Hogue Brings Experience and Can-Do Attitude to the Team
Hogue started his professional basketball journey in Greece with Neas Kifisia after graduating from Iowa State. He quickly adapted to European basketball, becoming a dominant force as the Spurs’ leading rebounder and achieving eleven double-doubles. He then joined Trento, where he became one of Italy’s top big men, averaging 13.5 points and 7.7 rebounds in the playoffs, leading Trento to the championship finals.
His impressive play for Trento led to a two-year stint with Enisey Krasnoyarsk in Russia. In 2020-21, he seasoned his resume in Romania playing for Cluj-Napoca in the Basketball Champions League. The following year he played for Prometey in Ukraine and Promitheas Patras in Greece, demonstrating his strong European pedigree before moving to Serie A2 with Rieti.
In his most recent season, Hogue star proved merciless with double-digit averages and showcased a phenomenal three-game stretch in the playoffs, with strong performances of 10 points and 10 rebounds in each game.
