Michael McCulloch: Thank you. The inspiration came from the rugged beauty of the Oregon coast itself. I was drawn to the shoreline, the sunlight, the privacy, and the expansive views. I wanted to create a sanctuary that embraced all these elements, a place to escape the hustle and bustle of urban life and find peace.

Michael McCulloch: Indeed, it did.Remarkably, during the final stages of construction, I met my future wife. The home, which was initially a vision for a future life with a love yet to be found, came to life as a testament to our unfolding love story.
