Heat Continues in Souss, Foggy Masses Form Near Coasts

The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for today, Wednesday, that the weather will remain relatively hot over the Souss region and the interior plains, as well as the southern regions of the Kingdom.

Low clouds and foggy masses are also expected to form near the coasts extending north of Kenitra, the north of the eastern region, and also the Mediterranean front, while the sky will be sparsely cloudy to sometimes cloudy in the Atlas Heights, its neighboring regions, the southeast of the country, the eastern region, and the south of the Kingdom.

It is expected to record fairly strong wind gusts, accompanied by dust scattering, over the southern regions, as well as the regions west of the Anti-Atlas.

Minimum temperatures will range between 05 and 10 degrees in the Atlas Highlands, between 08 and 12 degrees in the countryside, the south-eastern region, and the southeast of the country, and between 16 and 22 degrees in the Souss region and the desert regions, and will be between 11 and 16 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom.

During the day, temperatures will rise in the plains and near the southern coasts, while they will drop slightly in the rest of the regions.

As for the sea, it will be calm in the Mediterranean front, calm to a little rampage in the Bugaz, and a little rampage to a little rampage between Mahdia and Tarfaya.
