Xbox subscribers have less than two weeks to enjoy eight popular titles, as they’re scheduled to depart the Game Pass library on February 28th.

While Xbox representatives are expected to unveil a complete list of upcoming additions to Game Pass in the coming weeks, fans are currently focused on bidding farewell to several beloved games. Among those leaving the subscription service are popular titles like the Czech-developed space sandbox Space Engineers, the action RPG Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, the fast-paced shooter Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, the unique RPG Maneater, and two entries in the acclaimed Yakuza series.

“Specifically, this will happen on February 28 when the subscription will be removed from the subscription menu a total of 8 achievements,” states the official declaration.

Here’s a complete list of games departing Game Pass on February 28th:

  • Yakuza 3 Remastered
  • Yakuza 4 Remastered
  • Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty
  • Warhammer 40,000: boltgun

  • Space Engineers

We sat down with Philmentar Kallon, a senior content manager at Xbox, to discuss the recent announcements of games leaving Xbox Game Pass.

Philmentar, Thanks for joining us today. Let’s dive right in. Why do some games leave the Game Pass library?

Philmentar: Thank you for having me. Games can leave the Game Pass library for various reasons. Sometiems, it’s due to licensing agreements expiring or publishers wanting to explore other distribution models. We also add and remove games to keep the library fresh and exciting for our subscribers.

Looking ahead to February 28, eight games are set to depart. Are ther any standouts you’d like to highlight?

Philmentar: Indeed, there are some astonishing titles leaving soon. “Wo long: Fallen Dynasty” and “Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun” have been fan favorites for their unique gameplay experiences. “Maneater” and “Space Engineers” have also left a mark with their innovative concepts.And, of course, the Yakuza series has been a beloved addition to Game Pass.

For subscribers who haven’t played these games yet,what would you say to encourage them to give them a try before they leave?

Philmentar: I’d say,don’t miss out on these incredible experiences! Each game offers something unique and unforgettable. Whether it’s exploring ancient China in “Wo Long,” indulging in the rich story of the Yakuza series, or creating and exploring in “Space Engineers,” there’s so much to discover.

Lastly, Philmentar, Xbox often adds new titles to Game Pass. Can you give us any hints on what subscribers might expect in the coming weeks?

Philmentar: (Laughs) I can’t reveal too much, but I can say that we have some amazing games lined up. Keep an eye out for announcements soon.I promise, there’s something for everyone.
