“This event is really important because it removes the cars and creates park space in L.A., and L.A. needs more park space where people can play, hang out and really experience life,” said Tafarai Bayne, chief strategist for CicLAvia.

2025 CicLAvia Schedule: A Glimpse into the city’s Diversity
The 2025 CicLAvia season kicks off on February 23 with a brand-new route traversing the historic West Adams and University Park neighborhoods. This area, known for its diverse culture and charming architecture, is set to be showcased to cyclists and pedestrians alike.
“It’s one of the oldest neighborhoods in L.A. and it’s really diverse with lots of great small businesses along the way. we’re really exited to show people this community,” Bayne commented.
The frist ride will wind along Jefferson Boulevard between La Brea and Vermont avenues, offering a scenic journey past historic buildings, Victorian mansions, and Craftsman bungalows.

The rest of the season will take us through Koreatown, Pico union, South L.A., Watts, Culver City, Venice, Downtown L.A., and Melrose Avenue.
