Seo-myeon, a third year student at a specialized high school in Wonju, Gangwon-do, suffered a serious injury to her left hand on November 18, last year.
He got his hand on the ‘press’ machine while he was working on assembling a syringe at a medical device company where he went on field training.
Although he underwent surgery three times, he may have to live with a disability for the rest of his life.
When I think of that situation, only tears flow.

“(If you’re having a hard time, you don’t have to talk regarding it, but how was (situation)? I think you’d be surprised…) …”
A month before the accident, Seo went to practice as a medical device company that the school connects to in order to get a job early.
At the time of the interview, the company revealed that Yang would be in charge of production quality control.
However, it was put into the assembly process just a week following starting the practice, and I was able to work alone.
Seo Yang, who majored in environmental landscaping, had to work alone in front of a press machine she had never touched or learned regarding while attending school.
However, they claim that they have not even received safety training from the management.

“I didn’t receive safety training, and the team leader was busy, so I didn’t just tell you in detail, I just reported how to do it to some extent.”
In Yeosu, South Jeolla Province, following the death of Jung-Woon Hong, an emergency inspection was carried out for on-the-job training, and the teacher in charge visited the company for safety inspection six days before the accident, but the school had to deal with the Western press machine until the accident occurred. I didn’t even know there was.
The company rejected all requests for an official interview from reporters asking whether or not to conduct safety training and how the press work was ordered.
Immediately following the accident, the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Occupational Safety and Health Agency completed an on-site investigation, and both sides said they plan to request an investigation into the company and school.
