Archyde News: Anička’s journey began very early, with such an early exposure to music. Coudl you reflect on how that early foundation shaped her career path?

David Šimek: Absolutely.Coming from an artistic family, music was in her DNA, as the article noted. The exposure to the environment from a young age, the piano lessons, the exposure of performing with Zdeněk Miler, the childrens audio recordings undoubtedly laid the groundwork for her future successes. It was the springboard that nurtured her natural talent and gave her a comfort level in front of an audience that many artists take years to develop. Her work with her mother added a unique facet to her upbringing.

David Šimek: I would urge everyone to remember her joy and her passion. To support the arts, engage creatively, and to support the causes that were close to her heart.One of the hardest things to do is to say goodbye to a life taken so soon. And also, the importance of health, and taking care of ourselves. That would be my message.
