Adnan Shaikh: Wife Ayesha is Muslim, Inter-Caste Marriage Illegal in Islam

Now, in an Instagram question and answer session, Adnan Sheikh bluntly said that his wife is a Muslim and there is no scope for intercaste marriage in Islam. And children born from such marriages are not valid.

According to Indian media, Adnan Sheikh’s wife hid her face during the wedding and after that, Adnan’s sister Efat accused her that Adnan had married a Hindu girl, Ridhi Radio. Ifat also said that Ridhi has now accepted Islam and she was already married to Adnan.

Ifat had also posted pictures of Ayesha and her family on her Instagram and according to Indian media reports, Indigo had tagged Ayesha’s name as Ridhijahu while posting Ayesha’s picture.

Now Adnan Sheikh had an Ask Me Anything session on Instagram. In this session, a person asked him whether his wife is a Hindu. In response, Adnan said that his wife is a Muslim and inter-caste marriage is not possible among Muslims and those who commit inter-caste marriages are illegitimate and their children are also illegitimate.
