FORT WORTH, Texas (Archyde.com)— The chase for collegiate gymnastics supremacy culminates today as the No. 1 Oklahoma Sooners, the UCLA Bruins, the Utah Utes, and the Missouri Tigers face off in the 2025 NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championship Final.The electrifying competition is set to begin at 4 p.m. ET at Dickies Arena in Fort worth, Texas.

Championship Schedule and Key information

The championship final marks the end of a grueling season, showcasing the nation’s top talent in women’s collegiate gymnastics.

The road to the championship began with a field of 36 teams, selected based on their National Qualifying Score (NQS).The NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Commitee seeded the top 16 teams, while the remaining teams were geographically placed into one of four regional sites. The championship field also includes 12 all-around competitors and 64 individual event specialists not affiliated with a qualifying team.

The journey to Fort Worth included intense regional competitions hosted across the country from April 2-6:

Salt Lake City Regional: jon M. Huntsman Center (Host: Utah)
Seattle Regional: Alaska Airlines Arena (Host: Washington)
Tuscaloosa Regional: Coleman Coliseum (Host: Alabama)
University Park Regional: Rec hall (Host: Pennsylvania State)

Championship Format

The national championships consist of two semifinal sessions, featuring team, all-around, and individual event specialist competitions. The top two teams from each semifinal session advanced to today’s championship final.

The team championship will be awarded based on the highest cumulative team score, with five scores counting per event. Individual titles for all-around and individual events are resolute by the highest cumulative scores achieved during the semifinal competition.
