Demi Moore carried her dog Pilaf with her on the red carpet on Saturday in Los Angeles for the 2025 Independent Spirit Awards. The pint sized pup is often seen on Moore’s arm or in her bag attending various red carpets and press appearances. For her latest fashion moment, she and stylist Brad Goreski chose to give a take on the long-running sheer trend in Thom Browne.

Moore wore a sheer corset and skirt to the event. It features a back panel with two vents. In addition, to give the look a pinstripe effect, it was lined in fabric featuring the red, white and blue stripes that are a Thom Browne signature. She also wore a simple three-button blazer of the same construction.
She accessorized with small black leather Thom Browne bag and patent leather slingback shoes featuring a gilded gold heel. For jewelry, she wore a pair of platinum and diamond earrings with a Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Rock Ring.

Moore and Goreski have been going full-fashion on red carpets this season promoting “The Substance.” At times, the pair give their own iteration of the popular “method dressing” trend: for the Critics Choice Awards, Moore wore a Schiaparelli couture dress featuring a lace-up back that was a wink to the back stitches of her character in the film. Days later, she was in a sheer Christian Dior dress covered in eyes to the Directors Guild Awards, which is another reference to the film.
This, of course, hasn’t precluded the team from choosing glamour for glamour’s sake. Case in point, they kicked off the circuit at the Golden Globes with Moore in a strapless Armani Prive gown that was studded with Swarovski crystals.
