Requirements and Qualifications
- Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as event management, hospitality, or communications.
- Required Related Experience: Although not required, experience in university events or a related field is highly preferred.
- Required License/Registration/Certification: None
- Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must be able to climb stairs, walk for long distances, and endure extreme temperatures.
- Shift: Varies depending on department needs, as determined by supervisor.
Job Summary
The University Events Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the University Events team on a day-to-day basis. Key responsibilities will include facility and space scheduling in the Event Management System, general event management, administrative duties, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in event management and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the coordinator may be required to complete duties for CBMI and Commencement.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
