3M/Promotional Products To Sell in Europe Again After a Decade Away

Post-it Notes Make a Comeback: 3M and CCA Occasions Team Up

After a decade-long absence, personalized Post-it Notes are returning to the United Kingdom and European Union. 3M/Promotional Markets has teamed up with leading UK distributor CCA Occasions Ltd. to bring back these iconic sticky notes to European customers.

The partnership brings together a promotional products giant and a leader in personalized printed products. “We are excited to team up with CCA Occasions to bring Post-it Custom Printed Products back to the U.K. and EU markets,” said Greg Landsteiner, general manager of 3M/Promotional Markets.

“We feel CCA is the perfect partner to make this a successful venture,” he added.

Post-it Custom Printed Products will be sold through established distributor networks and novel print-on-demand channels across the UK and EU. Companies looking to learn more about

these customizable promotional products can visit the “3M Promotional Markets Powered by CCA Occasions” booth at key industry trade shows throughout Europe, starting with the PSI Show in Düsseldorf, Germany.

This exciting collaboration underscores the growing internationalization of the promotional products industry.

“Representatives from both CCA and 3M will come together to showcase the versatility of the iconic Post-it note," the companies stated, "alongside other customizable promotional products including Post-it, Scotch, and Command brands.”

CCA Occasions, a 120-year-old company, is well-placed for this venture. Based in Leyland, England, CCA Possesses a 70,000-square-foot facility equipped to cater to a wide range of promotional needs.

The company is part of Taylor Corporation, a privately owned Minnesota-based corporation whose company portfolio encompasses

several well-known names, including Counselor Top 40 winners: Liuke

Based on US sales revenue of $108.8 million in 2023, 3M/Promotional Markets ranked 17th on Counselor’s list of the largest US suppliers. 3M itself is a publicly traded multinational conglomerate with a diversified portfolio including consumer goods, healthcare, and worker safety among other fields.

The reintroduction moves comes as the Europe’s promo market expands. ASI Research shows distributor sales for the UK, European Union and geographically European nations of Iceland, Norway and Switzerland totaled nearly $14.1 billion, with North American based promo distributor.
